I’m so thankful for the opportunity I’ve had to work with The KAIROS Company. Going from an intern, to an assistant and then to a full-time publicist in the span of a year, I’ve gotten my fair share of publicity experience. I craft pitches, manage press requests, write releases and opeds, and even book interviews.
As Music Coordinator and a contributing writer, I have the opportunity to manage press, create playlists, review music and concerts, interview artists, and publish content related to the music industry. This is something I’m extremely passionate about and I’m thrilled to share the journey here.
Lifedge is a marketing agency based in Grand Rapids, MI. They help clients build their brand through photography/videography, marketing communications and social media management. I loved copywriting with them because they treat their contractors with the utmost respect and care.

I had the opportunity to interview Jaycob Curlee while I was writing for ODYSSEY. After reading my article, Curlee invited me to be a part of his social media and promotion efforts. This was my first real taste of working with an independent artist.
Writing for ODYSSEY allowed me to develop my own unique writing style and gave me the confidence to publish my work. Through ODYSSEY I was able to meet so many talented writers and artists.
Jonathon Eley and I met through Jaycob Curlee. Eley produced Curlee’s debut album and then released his own album ‘After the Internet.’ As a marketing and promotion consultant I connected Eley with bloggers to promote his new album.
At Liberty University Recreation Centers I collaborated with videographers and photographers to create content for social media. Through content creation, targeting, and analytics, I increased social media engagement by thirty percent and gained experience across multiple social platforms.
